Upjohn Diet Service

Steven Street sent these photos to me. This tin was in the possession of his great-grandfather, who was not a physician. It contains binders that give information about different diets. The example shown below in three photos is a low fat-high protein diet pamphlet. A copyright date of 1950 is on one of the pamphlets so the Upjohn Diet Service was operating in the 1950s. The booklet "Diet & Exercise" was saved by Ronald Stryd. It was published in 1975 so Upjohn still had a focus on diet twenty-five years later.
