These photos were taken shortly after the opening of the new corporate headquarters building in 1961. It included many opulent features, including much use of Italian marble, even in some of the bathrooms, and a number of courtyards. The room in the first photo is the Upjohn boardroom. Then there are some photos of the employee cafeteria followed by one of the executive dining room. You'll see why its nickname was "The Taj Mahal".
