When I started at The Ujohn Company in 1980, the employee handbook I received was one of these. It had a lot of information in it about benefits like medical/dental insurance, savings plan, life insurance, lomg term care and more. It really was a big deal to have a binder like this in 1980 because many companies in the Kalamazoo/Portage area had nothing. These blue and white binders were replaced by ones that looked more modern around 1990. I'm thinking there's still a couple of dozen of these binders still out there in former employees closets. This one is probably incomplete.
