In 1931 a Mr. T.W.Wu visited San Francisco and Kalamazoo for training to come the first Upjohn sales representative in China.

By January 1939 Mr. Wu had a staff of 8 salesmen to cover China and the Federated Malay States, as reported in that month's Overflow.
